1) There was social unrest in England during the Victorian age because the slaves had been freed in 1833, but in the middle of the century England awoke to the fact that slaves are not necessarily negroes,and they stolen from Africa to be sold like cattle in the market place, but that multitudes of the men, women and little children in the mines and factories were victims of a more terrible industrial and social slavery. So this kind of slavery seen in the Victorian age so, there is social unrest during this age.
